“In my side” means inside my tummy (abdomen) or maybe higher in rib cage, either on the left or right side.
When somebody says they have a pain in their side, they’re usually talking about a pain on the left or right side of their abdominal cavity, although it could also be higher, in their chest cavity. It could be muscular or gastrointestinal or something worse: kidney stone, appendicitis, liver damage, a mass (neoplasm), etc., or pregnancy.

ha ha, Wulfgar, yeah, I got drunk and woke up with the most terrible pain in my side. It was a knife. I don’t know how it got lodged there.
