another or others

I am pretty sure "another" is the answer you want. If it was one kid who recited the poem then it is "another". If you use "others" it will imply multiple kids reciting the poem and would be a slightly weird sounding sentence.

The sentence with "others" would be perfectly fine English, but it would describe a situation that would be unusual for the context.
