What is different between "como estas?" and "como te va?"

what is different between “como estas?” and “como te va?”

¿Como estas? means, How are you?. Como = How, estas is the “to be” verb (estar) in simple present.

In Spain we use the phrase ¿Cómo te va? in same case but It is more informal manner. And we use that phrase too when the person are in a period of time.

I believe “como te va.?”(which i use alot) .literally translates to "How does it go/is it going with you "…the informal tu form. We used to use a similar expression in Italy…“Come va”…or how is it going? Of course como estas? is the informal tu form of “How are you?”
