Japanese history/world war two content/china japan modern days issues

Does anyone know where one can find articles about history, ww2, or modern day issues all in Japanese? The main problem when i go to a japanese website is that I have no idea where to find such articles.

There’s the United States Holocaust website where there are identical translations in both English and Japanese. World War II in Europe | Holocaust Encyclopedia

I used to watch these “10 minute stories” http://www.nhk.or.jp/syakai/10min_nihonshi/
If you click on the あらすじを読む below there’s a transcript.

When I was learning Japanese I listened to an NHK cassette tape series called Outstanding! listened so many times. Doubt if transcripts are available though. Look for it. Original recordings, newscasts etc. recounting the history of the Showa Era.

There’s a ton of great sites about current affairs. Here are a few of my favorites,
SYNODOS (long form, usually academic articles on a variety of topics)
http://blogos.com/ (blogs related to current affairs. Many contributors are politicians and newscasters. Tends to be right leaning)
http://lite-ra.com/ (A lot of stuff about politics and scandals. Very critical of Abe)
http://shasetsu.ps.land.to/ (A site where you can read editorials of major newspapers side by side)

For history, this is a great resource.
http://cgi2.nhk.or.jp/shogenarchives/shogen/list.cgi
It’s a large archive of interviews with WW2 survivors from all walks of life (civilians, soldiers, settlers etc.)
Includes video with transcripts.
