Why does he say "braunes" and not "braun" I can't figure out if there is a difference in meaning or not

Why does he say “braunes” and not “braun” I can’t figure out if there is a difference in meaning or not.

In German, there are three genders and four cases, which means that the adjective you use has to “agree” with the Noun you are talking about. For example:

Der Zahn - The tooth
Die Wange - The cheek
Das Bein - The leg

Lets use the adjective ‘blau’, as in the story.
Ich habe einen blauen Zahn.
Ich habe hat eine blaue Wange.
Ich habe hat ein blaues Bein.

As you can see, you have to find out which Gender the word has, and then also the case you are using. Once you have that, you have to change the ending of the adjective, and other words (for example the article) to match the Noun.

I hope this helps and I haven’t missed your point.

Al lthe best,
David

Thank you. Yes that does clarify

By the way, ignore the ‘hat’, in sentence two and three. I meant to delete that.

i was going to ask about that next. because i thought it shouldn’t have been there. So i was trying to figure out why you had put it there. So thank you for clarifying.
