I’ve been going through the Mini Stories and the other LingQ content such as "Eating Out and “Who is she?” and am now looking for some other materials of similar quality and level, does anyone have any recommendations? Ive been searching the site for a while but haven’t yet found another series that really jumps out at me… Thanks! Im a beginner, I’ve covered around 500 Characters by now and trying to balance my time between explicit character study and reading /listeining/ LingQ time…

I think UIowa Chinese reading world might suit you and your level. Around 300 lessons that will take you pretty far.

Pleco has a reader with 500 words: Pleco Software Online Store including recording. You could import it to lingq.
