Has anyone tried to use ChatGPT for custom story generation?
Can you comment on grammar and general quality?
What is LingQ policy of adding such stories to the website?
I have run a simple experiment just now and the output looks quite good, although since I'm only a beginner I can't really judge the quality properly.

Yes I've used ChatGPT to translate my journal entries from english to japanese. Then I imported that as a lesson on lingq.
There are so many ways to use gpt to create content. For example you can make it make a list for you which you can then import into lingq. Let's say you want to have a lesson with just 100 N5 kanji with all the readings. You can probably ask gpt to make a story out of those 100 kanji. So now you can learn kanji in real context.

That is what I was thinking about. With the example in GPT4 demo, it seems to follow requirements pretty well. I was thinking of generating custom stories which contain correct mixture of known/learning words and about something you are interested in.
