What if I gave you $100,000 for you to invest in the stock of your choice? You would probably be pretty happy, and that investment could be worth a lot of money in the future. Well, becoming fluent in English is an even more significant investment. It could increase the amount of money you can earn per year by many thousands of dollars. So, if you spend time watching TikTok on your phone, here is how you can use it to help you learn English, with LingQ.

First, you have to import the TikTok into your LingQ library. Open up your computer and navigate to TikTok in your web browser. Find something that interests you. Then click on your trusty LingQ importer (available for Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox).

The classic sitcom and cornerstone of ’90s culture posts regularly on TikTok with clips of some of the show’s funniest moments. With wit, snappy dialogue, and realistic situations, it’s a great option when you don’t have the time for a full episode. 

Problemsolved

This wholesome account gives helpful everyday tips for solving problems in your house, garden, and travel life. The content is very visual, with lots of context clues, making it a good choice for lower-intermediate English learners.

PeteyUSA

The musician and artist Petey USA is also one funny guy on TikTok. He tends to play multiple characters in his videos, with semi-absurd or off-beat dialogues. They’re worth watching to learn some tricks from the California Dude dialect of English.

planetmoney

These guys make videos about economics and public policy, but they make it funny. The videos are easy to follow and informative. You’ll be debating in English in no time.
