Importing Your Favorite YouTube Videos into LingQ
When learning a language, content is key. If you can find content of interest, you will be motivated to spend the time with it and to understand better.
One of the best ways to find authentic content of interest is by importing it. Whether you enjoy reading Gujarati, Portuguese blogs, ebooks, watching YouTube videos, reading anime subtitles, listening to K-Pop, or podcasts, anything you can find online can be imported into LingQ to help you study (as long as it has transcripts).
At LingQ, we’ve made a BIG update to help you study by using your favorite content from YouTube!
Let me show you how.
Open Your Favorite YouTube Video:
Click the LingQ Extension and hit import:
Done! Open LingQ and you now have the video, a clear and easy-to-read transcript, as well as the ability to look-up and save new vocabulary. All of this in one place so you don’t get distracted. Please note, the video’s audio won’t import right away as there is a little delay.
After you open your lesson, you’re good to go. Don’t forget to highlight new words you come across (in blue) so you can review them in LingQ at a later date.
Remember, the better the content, the better your studying. Using LingQ, importing your favorite content and turning them into lessons is easier than ever before.
Good luck studying.
