Toronto

I was just in Toronto last week and I must say I was not that impressed. I haven’t been there in a few years and it just seems to be getting bigger and bigger. I’m not sure why some people think this is a good thing but I sure was glad to get back to Vancouver again. The massive apartment complexes and the constant traffic snarls just make me cringe. People say that the population of Vancouver is expected to double within 50 years or so. This makes me sad to think that our beautiful city which is already getting more crowded and built up is probably going to become more and more like Toronto. What is my children’s Vancouver going to be like? What can we do to restrict population growth here?
