Teaching English in Korea

I had to think about a friend of mine when I saw this blog about teaching in Korea.
How would you like to leave your home, go to a foreign country whose residents speak a foreign language, and teach your language to kids?
That’s exactly what my friend Quentin Flokstra will be doing in 5-6 weeks. He’s leaving for Korea where he’ll be joining a brand-new school as the resident English teacher.
Quentin has a bachelor’s degree in English, and has been taking further courses for the past few semesters, but he just recently decided to sign up for teaching duty in Korea. It’s a year-long commitment – a year away from family, friends, and home – but he’s excited about the challenge.
As you can see on the blog, it will be a challenge!
