Ich habe die ersten vier Lektionen einer neuen Sammlung "Nachrichten - kurz und einfach" importiert. Regelmäßig sollen hier kurze, einfach formulierte und langsam gesprochene Nachrichten aus Deutschland und aller Welt für Anfänger erscheinen.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich das Niveau richtig eingeschätzt habe und freue mich über Rückmeldungen.

Hi Vera, I have just listened to and read the lesson Unterrichsausfall an Gymnasien. When I opened it it showed 24 unknown words. I listened to it first and had some difficulty understanding everything. I read and linked it secondly. I think this is actually more difficult that Beginner 2 and should be in the intermediate section. Just my two cents. On a brighter note, I did enjoy the lesson and learned something about the lack of teachers in the right areas of instruction in Germany. Thank you for providing the lesson.

Twenty-eight new words for me! Of course, this is a new topic for me...

Thank you very much for the feedback. I'll change the level to Intermediate 1. It is often hard to rate content. And I think there is no way to make "news" with simplier words. I'm glad that you did enjoy it.

Vera - You are crazy prolific - providing so much content! I think the simple versions of current events/news is a brilliant idea for learners like me who are interested in those issues. Just wanted to throw this out there...if you were to produce advanced level lessons on current events/news, I would be the first to use them! I realize you must be amazingly busy, but if you have extra time, I would love to see advanced lessons on these topics. Thanks for all of your support to Lingq - you are having a tremendous impact on a lot of people who appreciate all you do.

I think to produce advanced lessons would turn out in much more work. I have to do more background research and not simply repeat the facts they I hear anyway on the radio or read in the newspaper. I write the short lessons in about 10 to 15 minutes (writing without recording and uploading them), but writing an advanced lesson needs usually about 1 hour.

For advanced learners it is not really a problem to read and listen to real news. They can use authentic material. I made this collection especially for those beginners/intermediate learners who are tired by the beginner stuff and want to learn with more interesting content. Therefore I speak really slowly in these lessons.
