It looks like you are using an old version of Internet Explorer (IE6). We do our best to support IE6, but the site will work much better if you use a more up to date browser. We strongly recommend you upgrade to:
I've done a raw OCR of their image-based PDF. Romanizations are mostly ruined cause they are not recognized as any language. Some (a lot of) of the Hebrew text also needs serious correction and it all just looks messy, but that is probably better than nothing and could be useful if someone decides to make a LingQ course out of it and to share with others.

So... here is the OCRed file: http://bit.ly/AvUDdu (doc)

Here is the page of the original course: http://bit.ly/dmDxXm
Thanks for getting things started, Eugrus...but unfortunately the file doesn't open for me. Think you could make a text file or something?
@Eugrus: There is no need to use an URL shortener any longer. LingQ can deal with long LingQs since 2 or 3 weeks.
@Imyirtseshem
Scribd has converted it into a PDF (text-based). You can get it here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/80403353/Fsi-Hebrew-B...

@VeraI
A great piece of news! Thank you!
Thanks Eugrus.
Sorry mate, but it's going to take less effort, time and annoyance to type it all from scratch than to work out the mess of the OCR.

I'll post it here in pieces - say, first 10 units then 5 at a time. Expect something soon.

Cool! :)
By the way, it's great that they don't rely on niqquds in the beginner's course!
> say, first 10 units

I personally would appreciate if just the very first unit comes at once once it's ready. It is going to take me a lot of time to go through it anyway!
I'll do a second check to make sure there are no errors left and post it for you, Eugrus.

Here's the first 2 texts belonging to the first unit. As you will have seen, they are basically identical, except that they do a version for men and then women.

Unfortunately, there is one problem. The full-stops, questions marks, etc, don't sit in the right place. Won't be fixed any time soon so we've got to deal with that one for now. Still, the words lingq just fine. :)
Thanks a lot!

Yeah, guys learning Arabic have reported some RTL-support problems here.
Lucky it's still usable. I'll get some more stuff going for you soon enough. I've typed up the first 10 but I've got to check them for errors. Only got so much time but I'll be doing it regularly.
