I have been noticing that a lot of verbs which end in 요, often appear with the ending 다. Babylon seems to have a habit of giving verbs the 다 ending while the 요 ending appears more often in the Lingq texts.
Do these endings alter the verb differently or are they to do with politeness/ formality?

Here is my answer, hope I understood your question correctly.

The verb 느끼다, which means "to feel", is a basic form in Korean language. "느껴요" is a conjugation from this verb.

The way I talk in this lesson, is like talking to somebody else rather than talking to myself without listener. So It's assumed there is a listener. If it hadn't assumed, I would have written it as "느낀다" or "느꼈다" or "느낀다" etc like I would do in my diary.

The other possible explanation is, if the sentence ends with "-요", then is more likely to be less formal than ending with "-다". But I think, whether the sentence is formal or informal or whatever, all depends on the style of talking and the context.
