Please feel free to give any advice about the podcasts, thanks

Hello, I'm wolf. I'm very thankful for all your advice. For some reason, we don't have too many podcasts especially for beginners. And for some reason, our content doesn't consist of the pinyin part which is crutial for beginers. But with time we will make more interesting podcasts suitable for most of you as possible as we can.
If you have any problem, please feel free to ask me.
Thanks very much.

Ni hao Wolf,

Thanks for the intermediate lessons that you have produced so far. I enjoy listening to them. Regarding pinyin transcripts, for those who need it its easy to use one of all on-line converters from hanzi to pinyin (for example http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~chinese/annotate.html). Here are a few proposoal of topics for your podcasts:

Metro system in Beijing
Olympic Torch Relay
How Chinese children learn Putonghua in school (pronunciation, reading and writing, number of characters taught each year etc..)
Chinese food
Tibet issue
Education system (elementry school, high school, university)
Global warming (fuel consumtion, energy saving...)
谢谢。
And thanks for your convertor, that must be very useful for other learners. I'm glad to know you enjoy the podcasts. For the topics you mentioned, I'll try to talk as much as we can.

I also know a cool website where you could get your context read, so as to adjust pronunciation: http://text-to-speech.imtranslator.net/speech.asp
Hi Wolf, keep those Intermediate lessons coming. You guys do a great job, thank you. Here are a few more proposals for topics:

Global financial crisis
New American president Barack Obama
Chinas 4 trillion RMB stimulation package
World Expo in Shanghai year 2010
Formula 1 Racing (I saw that next years race will be held in April)
Christmas in China
New bullet trains between Shanghai and Beijing (start date year 2012)
Thanks for your topics, Fredrik:) Actually these podcasts are not lessons, just conversations between us, but we try to speak more clearly. We're going to talk about the financial crisis & Obama. Some topics you suggested are not very familiar to both Huahua and me, so we tend to choose some familar ones to talk about first, or there may be just words in the podcasts:)
Hi Wolf,

I see in your bio you are willing to help others learn the Chinese language.
I’d like to learn Chinese and I need it for my job. Perhaps have you any tips or links to a starting aid, how can I understand Chinese characters.

Thanks
Hey Junair, I just made a blog for Chinese learners: www.chinesebeginner.blogspot.com Now there's only 1 podcast, but I'll make more. You can see the stroke order of characters using the dictionary on my blog. There are some rules among characters. For example, 明(bright)=日(sun)+月(moon). I think these rules can help you to some extend, but they don't apply to all characters. So it's better to simply read more and gradually get used to the characters. I believe by this way we can recognize characters automatically without thinking. Maybe you can find something useful at this webpage: http://www.china.org.cn/learning_chinese/node_1...
