I would like to trade language services English for Swedish.

What I would like to do is record an audio book in English (any book you choose) and upload to site. Then I would like to request a book to be recorded in Swedish. Maybe a book is too long. We could do short stories instead.

If anyone is interested in doing this please let me know. I think it could be a fun exercise. My thoughts are if I select a book or a story that I'm familiar with, listening to it in Swedish, will help me with recognition and vs. if someone is learning English.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules for Lingq.com. That is not my intention.
@Zoe:
Welcome to the forum. Your idea is interesting. You can publish in the LingQ library only public domain books. However, you can privately share your imported lessons with your friends via the "Share on LingQ" function.
I have uploaded some Polish short stories that I can't publish (both because they are copyrighted and because I have no audio, but I could have them recorded at Rhinospike.com), and later I have shared them with other learners of Polish.
The only inconvenience is that free members can only import up to five privare lessons, so I guess you should become a paying member to take profit from this audiobook-trading experience.

@Alex and Mark:
I think the "Share on LingQ" function is great but underused. You should think of a way to better promote it.
Hello Mikebond,
Thank you so much for the idea of the "Share on LingQ" function. I was not aware of this. I will look into it and see how much interest their is with doing this.

Thanks again,
zoe
