It looks like you are using an old version of Internet Explorer (IE6). We do our best to support IE6, but the site will work much better if you use a more up to date browser. We strongly recommend you upgrade to:

For many, many languages - Rhinospike offers texts plus audios in different levels and quality. Sometimes the same text was recorded by different people.
You may request to have your own texts recorded, but you never know when you will get the mp3 and in what quality...
You may also do recordings in your native language to help others and shift your own requests a bit upwards in the list

learnchinesepod.com contains audio lessons that include a lot of English. However, the biggest issue is that there is no Chinese text on the site. Pinyin can be imported, but it doesn't work well with LingQing.

I've added Rhinospike to each respective language. Clavis Sinica is already shared in its entirety on the Library. I added dhcca.org, but the other sites, while offering good resources, have little or no importable text that I could find.
www.newsweekjapan.jp

Newsweek Japan is good if you want just text. The articles are well laid out, instantly familiar if you read the English version and it isn't quite as intimidating as when you look at a Japanese newspaper.

No audio though unfortunately.
Thanks, I've added this to the list.

I've found this amazing Italian webTV, it's all about technology, tech gadgets and software. They have thousands of videos, all of them come with transcriptions

There are even some english videos (mostly from CNET) subtitled in Italian.

I couldn't import them because they are copyrighted, and they did not allow me to put them on LingQ. But still it's a great resource.

Videos in Italian with transcriptions:

Nice children's story in English and Chinese (both with audio):

The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter

While there are no transcripts, for advance learners of English I would recommend the following Canadian story-teller, Stuart McLean.

And for advanced French learners, another Canadian source of very funny material in Quebecois http://www.tetesaclaques.tv/index.php

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone. I've added these resources (with the exception of a couple).

@chikaraishihara - I'd like to ask the producers of Big Vision Podcast if we can import their stuff into our library. Have you already done this?
@Alex
Yeah.I have done some. It's great for English learners on Lingq to be able to get the interviews from Lingq-library! Content of the interview is interesting I believe. Thanks!
Oh, I have never asked the producers. I have just imported some into ''my lessons''.
I've just found business&finance podcasts (English) with transcripts :))

Thank you both for the great resources. I've sent an email to both bigvisionpodcast and allbusiness.com to request permission to upload their content to our site.

If they refuse then we will just link to them in the Resources section of the import page so that users can import the lessons and use them privately.
Don't know if this has been suggested already, but it's a great site, dual texts, plus audio for loads of classic russian poetry.

Content not for import, but a great place to hang out and get some fine input.
What a find! Thank you so much!
@Alex:

List? What list?

Do you have a list of Japanese resources somewhere? If so, could you give us the link please?
