add -a like in Portuguese and Spanish lol … well, actually, we replace -o by -a

menino (boy) - meninA (girl)
gato (male cat) / gatA (female cat)
esposo (husband) / esposA(wife

esposo = marido (there is not "marida lol)

namorado - boyfriend / namoradA (girlfriend)

russo (male russian) / russa - female russian)

Yeah, that surely is true! =))) It’s just that these ‘he’ and ‘she’ Russian equivalents are pronouns, they are normally not used to form gender-specific nouns, they rather replace these nouns! :wink:
