Google Translator cannot give me a precise definition for the word “fait.” Can I change the translator?

When we speak about weather we don’t say for example : “today is warm” or “today the weather is very nice” but we use the verb “faire”.
Il fait chaud aujourd’hui (today is warm) or il fait très beau aujourd’hui (today the wether is very nice).
Unfortunately, as French is not simple we can also say, although it is less common : le temps est beau (the weather is nice)

Thanks Serge, that’s a lot of help. I notice in your profile that we share the same languages.
Anyway, I see among the languages you are tending to study is Arabic, regardless the 0 words in your account, I can help you if you wish.
Au revoir

Actually, I don’t mean to learn Arabic but as one of my students comes from Saudi Arabia, I was looking for some expressions like “how are you doing” in Arabic lessons at LingQ. But thanks for the proposal
