For those of you who may be interested to listen to more Austrian content I have translated and recorded the beginner series Eating Out in a natural Austrian accent. It's not in dialect. This is Standard German with a few short forms that are part of even very cultivated usage. Myself being from the Vienna area, this accent is typical of the eastern parts of Austria. A recording from the West or South would sound different even in High German. I followed the lessons outline in English (14 lessons) and have added the translations/lesson texts of the English and GermanLingQ versions.
