I have started a new collection: "ChinesePod Newbie"

http://lingq.com/learn/zh/store/64397/

It contains 8 lessons in the moment, and I will add lessons from time to time. The MP3 lesson content is licensed under a Creative Commons 3.0 Unported license, the lesson texts were recreated from the audios. Both simplified "S" and traditional "T" characters are supplied, plus Hanyu Pinyin and English in the ressources.

I have also created three courses, all contain material from ChinesePod, and it's fun to learn with:

01 - START HERE - Damn Simple Chinese ... http://bit.ly/pjSFeH
02 - More ChinesePod Newbie Lessons (see above) ... http://bit.ly/pJfrtv
03 - More ChinesePod lessons (higher levels) ... http://bit.ly/nErIqE

Thank you! This is most helpful indeed :)
Nice work! Chinese beginners will benefit from your lessons a lot!

You can test your Chinese listening ability. Look at the exercise section, just listen (don't read, you can do this later) and select one of the situations provided / or decide whether the last statement is correct or wrong. The solution is at the bottom of the exercise section.

You can test whether your Chinese listening ability is about A2/B1 level (HSK 3). You should have more than 6 out of 10 correct.

The used vocab can be found here:
http://lingomi.com/blog/hsk-lists-2010/
(HSK Level 3, 600 words)
I have added some more dialogues and tests (HSK 3 level / Beginner-2 ... Intermediate-1 level)
Parts now available: 15

Are these dialogues not out of the Beijing Daxue publisher's series. Think I can recognise the voices/style :-)
The texts and audios are from this source: http://www.chinesetesting.cn/godownload.do

The male speaker seems to have spoken a lot of Chinese material, his voice is very special indeed.

The quality is excellent.
Then that fits. I think Hanban is related to Beijing Daxue. They speak very clear Chinese if a little slow. The quality is indeed very good.

However I do no think it is Northern Accent more like a very standard putong hua.
You are right, I've changed the accent to "none".
After having completed uploading the freely available HSK3 listening tests, I have started to upload the HSK4 listening tests.

The first test (Correct or Wrong?, solution in the "EXERCISES" section):
http://www.lingq.com/learn/zh/store/75905/21044...

The used vocabulary of the different HSK levels can be found here:
http://lingomi.com/blog/hsk-lists-2010/
(HSK Level 3, 600 words / Level 4, 1200 words)

So the above lessons are not only good for preparing the test but also to learn the most important vocab in real life situations.
Hape - I am thinking about putting an episode of 锵锵三人行 as a lesson. I have got the transcript and an mpsan (but have only managed to find one mp3, the rest are only available as videos). Seeing you are doing this for the hanban stuff, I was thinking this might be possible for the TV show which is public anyway. What do you think?
You can find new HSK Speaking tests on the following URL.
http://www.lingq.com/learn/zh/store/80375/
(Beginner Level, about 200 words / Intermediate Level about 900 words / Advanced Level about 3,000 words)

Please check up each level.

@dillemme, are those tests for the old HSK? I am not familiar with the speaking tests...

@Marianne10, you can upload them, if you find them interesting...
@hape, No, they are new HSK Speaking tests.
Thank you for sharing HSK level 4 tests. Although I have already passed this level, it will be very interesting for me to listen to them.
Hape - I reckon other people will find them interesting. They are advanced level so perhaps HSK 6 level.
I have added 6 new tests of the HSK level 4 listening tests:

In the future, I will add new tests of the HSK level 6, too.
I have started a new Chinese course:

"Easy Chinese Dialogues"
A collection of easy dialogues, using the most important 600 Chinese words. Every lesson contains ten dialogues, and every dialogue is spoken slowly twice. Pinyin transcription is also provided.

Try it:
http://www.lingq.com/learn/zh/library/courses/9...

Please have a look also at my other Chinese courses:

HSK Preparation ---> http://www.lingq.com/learn/zh/library/courses/7... (31 lessons with HSK3/4 tests)

ChinesePod Newbie ---> http://www.lingq.com/learn/zh/library/courses/6... (9 super-easy lessons)

And, last but not least, have a look also at my French content:

FrenchPod ---> http://www.lingq.com/learn/fr/library/courses/6... (94 funny lessons, different levels)
The "Easy Chinese Dialogues" course contains now three lessons:

http://www.lingq.com/learn/zh/library/courses/9...

"Easy Chinese Dialogues" is a collection of easy dialogues, using the most important 600-800 Chinese words. Each lesson contains ten dialogues, and each dialogue is spoken slowly twice. Pinyin transcription is also provided.

Even beginners can use these lessons if you like it a bit more challenging. The professional speakers speak very clearly and slowly. The dialogues also feature the most important grammatical structures.

The HSK3 tests in http://www.lingq.com/learn/zh/library/courses/7...
allow to learn more AND to test yourself (same level: most important 600-800 Chinese words)
