I don’t really know much about the online Korean study materials but I did look at the two TTMIK links and a few others. The TTMIK audio clips are very good everyday conversation, something you might hear in real life.
But I also think they are more useful for people at an intermediate level or higher. They have a lot of colloquialism and sound too smooth. To learn the basic structures and vocabulary of the language, too much of this realism and drama could get in the way of one’s learning, I think. More mundane and prosaic material that spells out every word clearly should be one’s primary course in the early stages - emphasize the core and cut down on frills, that is.
The language and vocabulary used in the audio are actually more diverse and advanced than the TTMIK ones, but they are enunciated really clearly (and the transcripts are right there too), almost to the point of being stiff. The only unfortunate thing is that the vocabulary is too advanced and broad for a beginner level. Something in the same style but easier is probably best for the A1/A2 level.
I would think a good mix (like 7 to 3) between the earnest beginner contents and the slicker TTMIK material is the way to go. Just my two cents - and good luck with your study.
