I thought beginner lessons would start with basic Korean consonants and vowels writing and pronunciation foundation before one can even read a word? Please explain where do I navigate to learn Korean consonants and vowels writing and pronunciation foundation on this site.

I would recommend you to learn korean alphabet in the internet. I think it’s not hard, you will spend about 1 hour, after that you can read in korean. I did that before train my skills on such sites, like lingQ.

By internet, I mean articles from wiki and other electronic textbooks.
