I think that 친구 means friend, so the question is: 친구분 is another word for friend or just the word friend plus a particle?

I couldn't find a good translation for the rest of the sentence either: 이시군요?

분 is honorific, and is another word for person 사람, so you are right, 친구분 does mean friend.

이시군요 = I see it is.

친구분 이시군요 --> I see that [that/this/he/she/it] is your friend.
