Often leaves out?

‘to leave out’ = to omit, not to pay attention to, for example:
We had to leave this paragraph out of the text because it’s not so interesting.

“I am sure you have noticed something strange about the way in which Felix Dennis speaks. He often leaves out the subject of his sentences. For instance, he says . . .”

If he tends to leave out the subject of his sentences, you cannot decide who committed the crime he refers to.

Don’t confuse this with the noun (leaves that fall from a tree).
