What does ''emancipation ‘’ mean really ??
Margaret Thatcher is supposed to have said that there was no such thing as society. On the other hand, many sociologists think that there is no such thing as complete freedom. This is an argument in the context of economics and sociology. Political or legal freedom might be viewed from a different perspective.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” (America's Founding Documents | National Archives ) I think that this should not necessarily be regarded as a religious view, although there is a religious word “creator” contained in the passage. This can be regarded as a political statement related to the concept of emancipation.
