I had ever believed possible. Could it not be: I had ever believed being possible?

Question:I had ever believed possible. Could it not be: I had ever believed being possible?
Term:I had ever believed possible.
Lesson: Adultery and the Law in Uganda
I would ever speak this way "I had ever believed possible", because I'd imagine that something would be missing. Is that right?
'I had ever believed possible' as a complete sentence is incorrect English.

'It was more terrible than I had ever believed possible.' is fine, however.
'I had never believed it possible.' is also fine, but the 'it' is obligatory.

I would ever speak this way=> I would never speak this way.
Thanks. I understood, I think that my problem with this phrase was translation. In my language it did not have a full sense. Anyway, thanks for wasting your time solving my doubt.
