Mr. Steve/Fellow Lingq’ers
I wanted to know how you felt about learning actual Lingq's (2, 3, 4, or 5 words combined) as it would be used in an actual sentence vs. learning single words. To me, learning single words is much easier and I can quickly get my numbers up that way. However, I'm not sure if knowing a vast amount of single words would be as beneficial as learning how these words are used in a structured sentence. When listening to a conversation, I would think knowing several words in a row would be easier to recognize and understand since everything is already in order and conjugated rather than trying to piece all these single words together, conjugate them in your head, and try to figure out what was being said. Obviously, having a great vocabulary as well as knowing sentence structure are both important but if you had to choose one or the other, which would you say would help the most in acquiring a language---Learning by Linging or Learning by Vast Vocab---. I'm obviously no expert here so I was hoping quite a few would share their experience on which way worked best for them. Your thoughts, please..
