“Give me face. I’ll pay”. Face here is like reputation. Chinese often fight over paying the bill at restaurants, the entire bill for everyone. They would “lose face” if they let others pay for them without offering to pay. So this would be a common thing to hear when the bill is brought to the table and everyone pulls their money/ credit cards out.
