This is incorrect. You would say either “She really likes Nanjing” or “She likes Nanjing very much.”

I suppose that in German, adjectives can also be used as adverbs. In English, “very,” which is an adverb, cannot modify verbs. It’s only used before adjectives or adverbs. Am I right?
Correct. Or at least I can’t think of any counter-examples where “very” modifies a verb directly.
Incidentally, “very” is a word that is often overused, and therefore one that style guides often advise against. If you find yourself using it more than about once per page, it’s time to work on expanding your repertoire of adjectives and adverbs.
"She very likes … " is bad English, of course
