    I wonder which sentence is natural.

Sentence 3 is most natural. It is also the strongest way to express the thought in English. Sentence 1 is more poetic. Sentence 2 is awkward.

In America, we would say #3.

This is an even better way to say it:
“It was a complete and unqualified victory for him.”
