Io ne ho - Io ho
What’s the difference? It looks like both phrases mean “I have”. It’s first time I see this “ne” attached.
Both mean the same. I guess they add this “ne” to separate two “o” sounds (you know Italians do not pronounce “h”).
He is speaking about his age. So in " Io ne ho " the ne is the object, literally " Io ne ( di anni) ho 18 " w hich is a little different from " Io ho 18 anni ". If I put the ne, I don’t have to use anni.

quanti anni hai? – ne ho 17.
How many years do you have? – I have 17 of them.
