Translation help to English: Can someone explain this paragraph in English to me. I know what it is trying to say but I am not understanding it completely in German. The portion of this paragraph that is confusing begins with the words “man kann nicht so einfack mal so mir nichts, dir nichts * damit umziehen.”

You can find this idiom ‘mir nichts, dir nichts’ in the notes to the lessons, it means in English ‘simply, easily, wwithout hesitation’.
That’s why the traslation can be so: “On the way we see how a house is trasported. There isn’t something similar in Germany. The most our houses are build solidely, and it’s just impossible to move them so easily, so simply”.
