Ich habe ein Kopfschmerzen; (wie) Ich habe eine Erkältung ( ein ist immer??)
Gute Besserung!
I have no idea what you´re talking about.
Anyway, it´s “Ich habe Kopfschmerzen”. “Ein Kopfschmerzen” doesn´t make sense since “-schmerzen” is already plural and counting pain is hard to do.

Danke schön! ich verstehe!
Nein, man sagt immer: “Ich habe Kopfschmerzen.” und “Ich habe eine Erkältung.”
Good to know. I didn’t know schmerzen was plural. It’s natural for English natives to try to translate word for word, in the beginning. I thought it just meant ache, as in I have a head-ache. But it doesn’t work in German, as I have a head-aches would sound weird.
Denn Kopfschmerzen ist der Plural und die Erkältung ist der Singular. Danke schön alle!
