Hello. I have a question about the following sentence. Why is ja in this sentence if it means" Yes"? Unless it is doing some kind of other job in this sentence.

Ja, ja, die Jugend, die hat es ja so toll drauf mit dem Internet. Was die alles so weiß, da kann man sich ja ruhig mal ein Stück von abschneiden. Ich versuche ja immer noch, alles im Duden nachzuschlagen, da sollte ich ja wohl eher mal wikipedia bemühen. Man lernt ja nie aus.
