Hello Everyone!
This is my first question on lingQ and would really like to thank all the content providers and love this site....could anyone please clarify why is it den namen?
"Den Namen" is the accusative form of "der Name". "Ich" is the subject of the sentence and "den Namen" is the accusative object (= direct object). The German language has four cases:

1. nominative singular: der Name

2. genitive singular: des Namens

3. dative singular: dem Namen

4. accusative singular: den Namen

"Name" is a noun and all nouns have to be witten with a capital letter in German.
