It is a very common goodbye that directly translates to “May it go well for you” or something like that. It more naturally translates to something along the lines of “Have a good day”, since the contexts where we use “have a good day” is where Spanish speakers would say “Que le vaya bien”. Although I am not a native speaker, I am currently in Ecuador, and I did ask about the literal translation for “have a good day” several weeks ago (Que tenga un buen dia), and I was told that it is used in more formal settings (at least here in Ecuador). Que te vaya bien would be used with friends or older people talking to younger people, and que les vaya bien if you are saying goodbye to more than 1 person.
