Question:alfabeto
Lesson: EL ALFABETO
Hi! i would like to know more on how to pronounce ll and y another is v. thank you.
"LL" sounds more or less like the English "y" of "you" (except in Argentina where it sounds more like the "sh" in English).
"Y" it depends; sometimes it sounds like "e" in English (like in the conjuction "y = and") but when a vowel follows it sounds more or less the same that "Y" of the English language.
"V" in theory should have the same sound as "B". In spanish supposedly and according to the RAE there is no difference between "V" and "B" and both should have more or less the same sound of the "B" in English or French, but in many regions you can hear the same sound of the French or English "V".
Greetings.
