I don’t understand the use of 自慢 here:
おいしさいっぱい、自慢のカレーをどうぞ
oishii sa iipai, jiman no karei o douzo
(Flavorful, Boasting’s curry please?)
Could someone elaborate on the idea of this sentence?
“自慢の” something means something you are proud of.
For some people their son is the shining sun and they are proud of him, who is their "自慢の"息子(son).
