“What´s your favorite?”

Are you talking about the girls or the languages?

“Wait, didn’t I just post this?”

Here´s what happened…

  • I saw your post, gave it a rose and opened the video
  • I watched the video
  • I thought “Hell yeah…i’mma share dat on Facebook”
  • Then I thought “Hmmm…it might be better to post it on LingQ”
  • Then I realized that I posted the link on LingQ because you posted the link on LingQ
  • Now me feel stoopid

“Are you talking about the girls or the languages?”

Why not both?^^

My favorite languages: French, Chinese, Japanese, Italian
My favorite “girls”: French, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Flemish

I’ve already listened to this song too many times… but I’ve actually never heard the original. I’ve only heard the “30 languages”-version of the year’s catchiest song^^

I like the Swedish, Japanese and Canadian French parts, for some reason.

Ahhhhhh, you just fancy the girls for those languages…

…I can’t disagree with your choices.

I actually haven’t seen Frozen nor heard the song before. (I know, I must be a hermit). Makes me want to see the movie now in the language I am learning.

They should’ve let that Takako Matsu sing more , but oh well. I also like the girl/woman( you can never tell what age they have  ) singing in Mandarin.
It would’ve been better if there were an Arabic version too.

“It would’ve been better if there were an Arabic version too.”

Here´s the Arabic version: Frozen - Let It Go (Arabic) +Subs&Trans | ملكة الثلج - أطلقي سركِ - YouTube

Disney movies are dubbed into a ton of languages (even Icelandic^^) . I guess it´s because most children can´t read subtitles and don´t speak foreign languages.

(I apologise for this “late night” type of comment)

“Ger 6
Dut 7”

Both versions are sung by the same (dutch) person.

“Fre 7
Fre Can 7.5”

Same here.

"“Ger 6
Dut 7”

Both versions are sung by the same (dutch) person."

I guess that tells you something…

(Again, I apologise for this comment. I was tired.)

‘pissed’ … that strange slang term that can mean angry or drunk

I think in this case, it means he has been out on the razzle.

I used to be a conservatory student. One of the lessons that I learned there was that I don’t like to date or spend time with vocalists, particularly not those who are into singing showtunes - and especially not those who enjoy singing Disney showtunes!

That being said, I’d put the Chinese woman, all those speaking Spanish, the Portuguese lady, the Dutch girl, and the French Canadian all above 7.

I put all women at 10.

Colin, you objectify as would a true gentleman.

“Drunk” and “angry” live in the same neighbourhood.
