I'm going to be unable to use Lingq for a few months, and I was wondering if there was a way I could cancel my basic membership for just a few months without losing all of my data when I come back. I don't want to stop studying on Lingq permanently. I just won't be able to for a bit, and hate to spend money on something that I can't use for a while.
But I don't want to lose all of my data because I'm coming back!

@minnie - You can downgrade any time. You will not lose your data. The only restriction is that you will have to get below the 5 imported lessons limit, if you use imported lessons, before you can downgrade. However, all of your LingQs and vocabulary data will be kept in your account.
